Mother’s Talk: How to Raise Your Children Properly

Mother's experience can serve as the best advice for raising your kids.

Parenting is not that easy; it is not just about bringing a life into the world and seeing it grow. Being a parent is a full package of responsibilities that go beyond just daily feeding and commodities. The most important part a parent has to give their children is morals, constant attention, and the most the important of all:
Love.

This is why the role of a mother is one of the keys to the growth of children. Whether you adopted the children or you’re the birth mother, it doesn’t make a difference. If you love them, those words have neither meaning nor difference as they just represent unnecessary labels. Children deserve to be cared and loved above all.

A mother’s words and advice shouldn’t be taken for granted; there’s no better place to get the knowledge than a mother’s testimony. Just the fact that you’re here is a living proof of how well you were raised and how much you care for your children. Never doubt for a second that you’ll be getting bad advice from asking your mother for help, they’ll always be there if you’re in need.

This is the reason why mother’s day is not (or should be) only a one-day thing; they are willing to be there for you and your children as well. If your mother is no longer around to help you for any possible reason, there’ll be at least one near you, willing to help. Should you try to look for advice, work with your couple’s mother too.

It’s good to look for help sometimes but keep in mind that it won’t be all about knowledge and advice from experienced parents. Most of the process of being a mother is learned through experiencing in itself, learning from the mistakes and losing the temper. We’re human, after all. Your children will also be learning with you, so give them all you can and have no restraints.
Listen to what they have to say; they have been through many experiences.

Mother's Day: An Every Day's Labor

The love a mother has for her children cannot be compared to any other. They do everything without expecting anything in return.

The responsibility of raising children is something not everyone can do: teaching the values, preparing them for school, their basic needs and care. Mothers have a great weight of responsibility to carry on their shoulders. And not only that, there are mothers who also work and go out every day, added to all the things mentioned before, to maintain their children and provide what they need.

The history of mother’s day celebration comes from the efforts of Anna Jarvis, a woman in West Virginia who held a memorial for her mother at St. Andrew Methodist Church. Her continuous efforts to make “Mother’s Day” a recognized holiday started in 1905. The campaign was for honoring all mothers: she claimed that they were the ones that have done more than anyone in the world.

Years passed until she could see her efforts become a reality, but people started celebrating Mother’s day as a local holiday in 1910. Four years later, Woodrow Wilson signed a proclamation to designate Mother’s Day to be held every second Sunday in May, to honor the efforts of mothers.

Anna Jarvis became resentful for the commercialization of Mother’s Day, as she wanted people to understand the meaning was about the sentiment, not making a day for consumption and for companies to earn a profit. The best way to show them how much they mean was by expressing them love with handwritten letters, not pre-made cards.

We all should learn from Anna Jarvis and her efforts to make mothers be appreciated as what they are: hard-working, loving woman who work for their children day and night. What they represent for society today is something that everyone should be grateful for and for that they should be honored every day. If you have your mother nearby, be sure to be thankful for her efforts and show her how much she means to you.
It doesn't matter if they're adults and independent, they will always be children in their mother's eyes.

Mother’s Love: The Value of Caring

A mother's love can prove to be the answer in opening their channels of communication. Don't give up!

As a parent, you are aware of the meaning of caring for someone else more than yourself. Your children are the world to you, they’re the light of your days and you’d do anything to protect and to give them a bright future for their dreams to come true. There’s a kind of love that goes beyond this and that is without a doubt: the love of a mother for their children.

How come this bond between children and their mother is so strong? There is a 9-month period that says it all. Studies have shown that after the first months, the mother develops a mental bond with the baby that’s growing inside. Imagine what it’s like for a mother who loves their children to feel like she can’t do anything about them, the helplessness of not being able to understand what’s going on. Autism makes the first years of any marriage a very complicated and delicate situation and sometimes, even you as a parent feel like you’re not doing enough for your special needs children. The reason is mainly because they don’t give positive responses and are very withdrawn about their feelings in general.

If you notice the changes in the behavior of your children and you’re aware of the meaning of the characteristics autistic children have, you’ll surely know this won’t be an easy task for you nor your husband or family members. There might be times where discussions around the topic will increase and silly fights will somehow become bigger than they actually are. In these moments, you have to be patient and think of your children and remember it’s not their fault, they were born that way and they deserve to be loved the same.

Eventually, the tensions and fights will cease and the storm will just stop. After managing to get a treatment adjusted to the necessities of your children, you’ll have succeeded into embracing your children’s special condition. This is the power love has in mothers, not anyone can love their children more than they do, they might as well be the main reason for awareness to even exist.

Nothing is more important than the care you give to your children, and if you actually do want to try all you can, you should contact the people of Autism Soccer to get a greater improvement in their communication skills. Do it for their happiness and for a better future for them.
To love them is to set them freem don't try to control everything they do. Try to relax a little.
