These three vloggers make sure to show people within the spectrum going about their lives and inspire awareness about it.


Autism isn’t a limitant for creativity. And while some might think this, people that have this condition have been focusing their efforts into creating awareness about the condition in a variety of ways. Whether through listening and creating speeches and events, or reading books and blogs about it, the technology has created alternatives by which people reach out to generate a response or to create awareness.


YouTube, with its ever expanding list of channels, allows the growth of educative initiatives. Among the top are vloggers, that use the platform to show in a personal way their opinions and knowledge on particular subjects. Today we’ll be exploring the autistic condition from the eyes of people that used this platform to create awareness and to build up a communication with audiences across the globe that want to know more about autism.

Amythest Schaber created this channel to illustrate in a direct way how the world is perceived for them. Using the video platform, the embarks on discussions over terminology, social struggles and a variety of subjects that are directly related or that connect with the autistic condition.


She’s an avid blogger too, and you can find her pinions on the Neurowonderful blog she runs. For Amythest, teaching and reaching out to others about the condition is part of her motivation to get and face the world through videos and texts.

With a fresh approach to education through anecdotic experiencing, Willow’s blogs are far from stiff or robot-like. For all those watching, it’s enlightening to see how she takes an interesting approach to the subject, and how the tell-all approach reached out to those struggling with the condition.

Christa Holmans - Neurodivergent Rebel

Nothing like a good heartened rebel to make you understand autism. On her vlogs you’ll find a modern and friendly approach to communication, and above all, a great sense of responsibility. Putting on the shoes and the mantle of a task such as communicating and sharing neurodivergence online was a challenge, and one she accepted wholeheartedly.  


She’s a firm advocate of the pursuit of passions and creativity, and through her kind spirited posts you can see how her love for all things life make her an inspiration. Christa also focuses on creating awareness in a completely new way, and teaching that neurodivergence is not something to hide, but to be proud of. She runs the Neurodivergent blog since 2016 and shares her life experiences and opinion through both platforms.

Autism is not just one condition, is a vast set of conditions that create neurodivergence, and that need a different approach to create awareness.
